Google services

Hi there!

As you know, internet is evolving rapidly, and there's no better stimula for it to expand than a global pandemic. Since not so long time ago we all were forced to seclude ourselves in order to avoid being contaminated, Google utilised the opportunity and made its services even more accessible in order to attract more users. You all know Google - chances are, 80% of you are using it right now to read it. But the network of Google doesn't end here, it has so many other services and today we are talking about them.

Google Drive

Google Drive is a free cloud-based storage service that enables users to store and access files online. The service syncs stored documents, photos and more across all of the user's devices, including mobile devices, tablets and PCs.

Google Drive integrates with the company's other services and systems -- including Google Docs, Gmail, Android, Chrome, YouTube, Google Analytics and Google+. Google Drive competes with Microsoft OneDrive, Apple iCloud, Box, Dropbox and SugarSync.

Google Docs, Tabs, Slides

Basically Google docs lets you do everything that Microsoft Word does, albeit in online format. But the best thing about it is that they are interportable - meaning you can freely convert the Google doc into Microsoft Word and vice versa. It's also a lot more easier to share information with Google Docs. Google Tabs is the same for Excel, Google Slides - for PowerPoint.

Google Forms

It's a very useful thing when you are conducting any survey! Especially for a diploma, when you have to collect a large amount of answers from respondends but you simply can't interview people face-to-face. Whether it is collecting feedback, doing quiz shows, applying for any programme - Google Forms is your best friend.

Google Classroom

A really ultimate tool for online learning! Google Classroom enables teachers to create an online classroom area in which they can manage all the documents that their students need - be it either documents, videos, photos or audio material. Documents are stored on Google Drive and can be edited in Drive’s apps, such as Google Docs, Sheets, and so on. But what separates Google Classroom from the regular Google Drive experience is the teacher/student interface, which Google designed for the way teachers and students think and work. I think it's the best thing Google ever invented (apart from its browser) and the faster our dear BSU adapts it instead of moodle (you know as they say a khoroshuyu vesh' moodlom ne nazovut) the better.

That's all I have for you now. Cheers!
